"Warhammer forge".. eurgh makes me cringe. Forgeworld so much better. Hope they don't change that. I don't really see how itd help promote it.. their prices would put off anyone casual... and anyone not casual would already habe found out about it.

Warhammer world sounds ace tho. I'll defo be trying to go at some point.

@Axineton in same dilemma. I have space wolves but I probably don't need that many more space wolves... So I'm debating about another chapter... been drawn to imperial fists since coming back.. but yellow is such a pain to paint

Well now you have your compressor I'm assuming you have an airbrush? If so yellow will be easy to paint with that mate. I want an easy paint scheme nothing to technical lol so it may be Blood Swords which are complete red except a shoulder pauldron which is white or Iron Ravens or any of the silver chapters for ease.

I don't necessarily dislike the name - they're obviously going for the 'Warhammer' brand link. With FW taking on the specialist games it maybe makes sense to have the grand recognition when trying to draw somebody in a new customer to Bloodbowl, for example.

Fists look good when they're done right, but I can't say I've ever looked at how you would do them right!
And I've never been a fan of metallic-heavy marine schemes, for some reason.

I've had serious issues with whites and light greys in terms of speckling etc. I've heard yellow is just as bad 😫 I'm finding that side of airbrushing to be quite a dark art so far. Still very inexperienced though. It may just be practise.

@pawl I've heard it mentioned that a pink undercoat is weirdly the solution to yellow looking right πŸ˜‚

It does work surprisingly well, but typically I can't find the video I saw before of an Ork being airbrushed. I'll keep looking. πŸ‘Œ

Edit: Orc, not Ork! Here we go!

I love the videos that guy does. I used his vid for the cairn wraith as one of my first back into the hobby. It was great but hard and alot of techniques I hadn't used or even heard of. Not a fan of loaded brush tho. I couldn't get that to work haha.

The yellow in that looks fantastic.. maybe I'll have to try!

There's that many talented YT painters that I honestly don't know where to begin! Darren Latham is obviously fairly solid (while his stuff is still up) but there's just too many other names!

I've found next level painting quite good for airbrush stuff... He's also quite funny.. didn't like him at first but he's grown on me.

I only tend to looks when I want to see something specific, but even then it's hard to know where to start!

In Indomitus-related news, I don't trust Wayland to deliver, so I'm cancelling my order with them and paying a little extra to get an MTO direct from GW πŸ˜‚

I reckon that's a safe plan. Do you know if you'll get the little tokens thing with it too?

Just a thought but what about risking it to try snag one on release day? I've heard shops will be getting stock for sale. Does lincoln have a gw?
