Hello Everyone,

I have a idea for a dice tower but I think I need some help if anyone has ideas on how to do it.

So i saw this https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3577456 and my idea is to make a Imperial bastion version.

So questions
1 - anyone know how to convert this https://www.games-workshop.com/en-CA/Imperial-Bastion into a dice tower.
2 - use either kit to catch the dice at the bottom https://www.games-workshop.com/en-CA/Aegis-Defence-Line or https://www.games-workshop.com/en-CA/Wa ... fence-Line
3. I would need some kind of base to fill the gap where the dice land

Im trying to get some kind of plan going before i buy anything as i dont have a 3d printer and i dont know anyone who does (this is where my idea came from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4212437)

But then I looked properly at the one on thingiverse. Wow that is very cool.

I don't know but it could be worth asking someone to 3d print it for you for a fee? Might not be that much. I imagine defo cheaper than getting a bastion and any other bits..

3D printing services are often not as expensive as you would expect, it's worth checking Google (or even Facebook/Twitter/etc) for your area.

That said if you wanted to build one using the Bastion kit, while expensive it could definitely be done. If you were careful I don't see any reason you couldn't magnetise it so that it could function as both terrain and a dice tower, either.

Looking at the instructions you would need to have the roof (or part of the roof) removable, build a channel for the dice using plasticard, and cut a hole behind where the door is placed, all of which looks like it would be relatively simple.

For catching the dice it looks like either kit could work, but obviously without seeing them next to the bastion it's a little difficult to tell for certain. In regards to flooring, something as simple as plastic mesh with plasticard over the top can work rather well.

For basing in general this video might be a handy watch?
