Plan would be poxxies holding rear obj. Marines and tallyman slow advancing. Pbc do what it wants. Possessed cluster the dp and try get in close. Termies to deepstrike in.

I like it, and Mortarion's Anvil is a great plague company to choose with that gloaming bloat contagion, especially is you use a combo of Flash Outbreak and Gift of Plagues to put it on bloat drone in turn 2 - instant 12" contagion right in their face!
If you are going to spend the 3cp on the vanguard detachment, personally I think it would be better to invest more in the elites, like maybe get rid of the Plague Marines and replace with another unit of Blightlords, if you combo them with the Noxious Blightbringer you can march one unit up the table at 6", and then deepstrike the other. I wrote a 1000pt vanguard list that was something along the lines of LoC, 10 Poxwalkers, 7 Blightlords, 3 Deathshroud, Noxious Blightbringer, Tallyman and 2 Helbrutes (Helbrutes are core so can be handy when it comes to strategems)
I guess really though it depends on what you are facing, as we know I usually play against Battle Sisters whereas you play against....Primaris *shudder*, so your list might work much better against what you are playing than what I'm thinking haha
