Found ten minutes earlier to sit on the bedroom floor, and (once I've done some stripping) I have the first five ready. The other 5 all need some stripping of legs and bodies before I can carry on though.

Even though I'm hoping the painting will be quite quick I'm still intending to keep things accessible, hence weapons and heads not being glued in place. The double bladed choppa will be attached, but the head and jaw separate - speed and details!

Edit:
Stripping nearly complete! Naffgit is soaking again because he was stubborn ded 'ard an duznt lissen to stoopid 'umies! but everything else is clean enough to work with 👌

Hahaha excellent.
Did you decide on a scheme for your orks or know what faction of orks?

I jotted some notes down on my phone earlier, actually. This is what I have so far;

Naffgit - Bad Moon clan? (cos yellow looks good)

Formerly fought as a shoota boy with Ghazghkull at Armageddon - said of Ghaz that he's "ded good at krumpin' but not very kunnin'!"

Told him so once - "oi, naffgit, go do somethin' useful like bashin' 'umies!" was the reply that gave him his moniker.

Kept the name for 2 reasons when he started to forge his own path.
1. His enemies will underestimate him. Kunnin, see?
2. The other boyz already knew it so he couldn't change it.

After Armageddon caught a ride with a Freebooter kaptin, ended up on planet [X]. Planet is an Imperial mining world with a large garrison, and has recently completed an attempt to remove an Ork infestation. Naffgit is booted off the kroozer and finds the tattered remnants of the Waaagh! that caused the scourging, which he then takes control over using his Orky kunnin'.

Not actually very rich because some sneaky Blood Axe stole his pile of teef while on the Freebooter ship. Definitely gonna find a mek to threaten until he makes him some double-'ard dakka armour so he can show Thraka how useful he really is!

Accompanied by a runtherd by the name of Grotbag. So named because he only has one particularly sneaky grot (his 'favourite one') that he often keeps tied up in a sack so that he can't run off.
Decided that I quite like the name Naffgit, so I'll be keeping him, and replacing the model as and when I see fit, rather than replacing the Warboss character entirely.

Additionally I'm not sure whether to try and convert drivers for the Trukk (as and when I have more Orks to play with) or simply use the original Gorka bodies and claim they're just weedy Orks. They of course would claim that because they're smaller the Trukk can go faster, but that's probably actually because of the red paint!

Just done some searching, and there's a few Trukk bits I can't find 😭
Namely the second set of legs (not a major issue, I can mould them), the rear wheels and the dozer blade/spikethings. I think the rest of it is there, but it looks like I have some googling to do!

Would it be possible to make then from green stuff?

The legs would be easy enough to mould, yeah. The rear wheels I could try and find a replacement (or order from a bits site if they still make them in that size for anything). The spikes I could get and plasticard but I'm useless!
Instead I'm looking at some on eBay 😂

Also, more Orks have spawned!
