The Warp Storm

I love the Harlequins and they are one of three factions I want to use in ninth edition when I eventually play. I got into them around 2018 and picked up a few bits unbuilt and then last year I managed to swap a big lot of unbuilt stuff for four harlequin halves of Death Masque the boxed set that was harlies and Deathwatch. Now I had to sell that late last year cos I needed some cash but I’ve vowed I will get the harlies going once again and I’ve slowly started buying bits and pieces the last few weeks after during a tidy up I found a Starweaver, a full troupe and Eldrad Ulthran. So I bought another Starweaver and three more troupes plus a two shadowseers and a Death Jester.

Last year I got to painting some harlequins. I painted a Starweaver, a Troupe and a Solitaire. I sold all these but I’m definitely in the mood to start painting these little beauties again. I love the Dreaming Shadow masque and their lore plus they don’t have the dreaded diamond pattern. I’m thinking of just painting a Homebrew masque so I can use whatever masque I want when I game again. Here’s some pics of what I painted last year. I remixed the Dreaming Shadow colours and went with yellow and red as the main colours instead of green and yellow.

Very cool. Love the last one is he some sort of death jester?

No he’s the troupe master. I loved painting this lot so can’t wait to start up these clowns again soon.

Any plans for your colour scheme?

I’m either gonna go with the traditional Dreaming Shadow colours or I’m gonna do a scheme with a diamond pattern. Undecided at the moment

@Axineton these are awesome! I envy your ability to keep a steady hand on those straight colour lines!

Ugh don’t remind me mate it was horrendous I tell thee! Whoever decided edge highlighting was important seriously needs a kick in the nads
But thanks mate. I sold all this but I’m rebuilding my Harlequins this year as a project.

Edge highlighting is a silly idea, and I refuse to do it!

I don't imagine there are any Harlequin interactive painters around to do a mockup on!
