And then the whole shaboodle has been varnished. And glossed on any orb areas.

Thats 2 batches done. Maybe 1.5 left to do once I've built the few boxes I got for bday last year.

Not sure which my favourites are. The skorpech destroyers look sweet af as a unit. The Plasmancer is very cool. Plasmactye and Cryptothralls. Also the hexmark destroyer is bad ass.

Pretty pleased to have got all this done since August. And with the wedding and honeymoon meant I didn't even paint anything for about 2.5 months. So for a 'speed' project for me. Definite success and necrons lend themselves well to a quicker style. Looking forward to something new now

Necons have interested me since I started playing Wathammer. I mostly like how they look almost like the T-800 terminator frames. I just finished building and painting some Immortals a couple days ago. So I would like yo possibly get more and painting them.

Thanks mate. I've really enjoyed the project overall. Nice to find a way to paint things quickly but focus on a few parts and have a solid army theme.

I tried to but my phone malfunctioned and wouldn’t share it the first time and I tried to delete it.

Rushing the doomstalker for Tuesdays match up with Adam. And incidentally decided I may aswell do the same steps on the acanthrites too! So I guess this is necron batch 2.5


Metal done with lighter silver zenithal. Then black ink into shadows. Then hit the shadow areas with the celestial azure shifter. Then the rose gold shifter from above.
Next steps will be black oil wash and sort the bases out but may not be time for that before Tuesday!
