Well that is incredible. I think beyond my abilities for the time being i cant even really tell how hes done it. Magic.
Stuck with the gw guide sorta and im fairly happy with it. May do another super thin reikland flesh wash shade just to tie it in. But its not bad. Also done some more tidying and agrax into bronze and silver bits just to help tone it down.

I think skill makes anything look easy!
It looks like this should be a fairly quick job for you though, coming along nicely.

Haha definitely. Just hard to skim through the vid to see exactly where the colours go in etc.
Yeah hes looking ok... just super busy at the moment.. burning the candle at both ends! Me and my fiancee are gutting my mums house on a weekend and then trying hard to sell all her horded cr*p during the week. So too burnt out to paint

I was in bed pooped but couldnt sleep so i thought id get up and atleast do a bit!!
Mainly washes on bits but ive done a couple of details. The face is now done.

Quite pleased with it as the head is in dumbest positioning ever. It's like the clive anderson of death guard if you remember him. Right eye worked well too. Left eye... meh it'll do.
Also i did the piping cables in black and yellow like the gw website surgeon. Hard to do when the cable goes all over and isn't straight. Not perfect but itll do.

Cabling will look perfectly good at a small distance mate - I've never understood how people can get it perfect even on flat surfaces, never mind things like cables!

Hah yeah the guy with no neck. If I use him in 40k crusade mode which me and @Badger_of_doom are looking to start.. Ill name him clive anderson the plague surgeon. (You get to name all the units and unnamed characters)

Yeah its overall pretty good and as you say from a distance looks effective.

Next steps will be the vials.. and bone details.. and will be looking to subtly highlight the robes and cowl bit... a few other bits like the random head on the back and then it'll be ready for enamels..

You'll have the whole thing done inside a fortnight at this rate! Looking forward to seeing how the enamels look on infantry - decided a while ago that my own will be enamel shaded, rather than acrylic washed. =]
